"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
I Timothy 2:3-4
We are a humble group of Bible believing Christians who have trusted Christ as our all sufficient Saviour and have experienced the joy and peace that understanding what Christ has done for us can bring. Our hope is to help others experience that same joy and peace by trusting Christ as their Saviour.
God through his grace makes it so simple for us today. He simply states the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
I Corinthians 15:1-4
By simply trusting that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures you are saved from the debt and penalty of your sin.
Don't believe it is that "easy"? Read Romans 3:19-26.

"Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus." Romans 3:19-26
That may seem like a lot of fancy words at first if they are unfamiliar to you, but I assure you if you take the time to understand what those words mean you will find the meaning of the passage. You could not be saved by the law (ex. The Ten Commandments) because no one can keep them perfectly. They were designed to show you that you are a sinner. If you could have kept them perfectly you could have the righteousness of God on your own merits, but none of us can, "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". Only Jesus Christ (God in a man's body) could keep the law perfectly. God took the wrath that we all deserved out on Christ on the cross. Christ already paid the debt and penalty of your sin and the sins of the world. There is nothing else you need to do, only to accept it.
A person, if he refuses to trust Christ as his Saviour, can still be judged by God on his own merits when he stands before God after he dies. But the scripture is very clear; no one will be able to stand on their own merits before God. And if you are honest with yourself, you know in your heart you do not want to stand before a perfect God on your own merits.
